I never posted these shots from the Friday before Halloween. Shot at our place before we headed out dancing.
A Graphic Novel, and Edward Scissorhands.
A 360° stitch of the University of Illinois quad, as a little planet.
A much larger one is here. We stopped in Champaign on the way back from a recent trip to St. Louis, as I haven't been there in quite a few years. Driving through town Its odd to see what's changed and what hasn't.
Playing with matches, and my 7D. With a macro lens and a LOT of light, these are extremely detailed - the second photo is a 100% crop of the first, my intention is to make large-scale prints on canvas with these.
A Van Wrap designed for Paslode Tools. Photo provided by skinzwraps.com in Dallas. This van should be driving around Home Depot locations in the DFW area very soon.
Birdhouses on the Chicago lakefront - taken with a point and shoot wallet-sized Olympus. It may not be nearly as high quality as my full cameras, but due to the small lens size it has a huge depth-of-field. I like how the three clouds mimic them.
A 7-photo stitch of the chicago skyline, color edited and saturated. I've been meaning to shoot some large-scale panoramics like this, with the intent of having prints made on canvas and stretchers. A few more and I'll attempt a print run. I'm really looking forward to having a 3ft x 8ft version of something like this - There's so much detail, it mostly gets lost when I try to show it online.
Photo links to a 1500px-version on flickr.
I took quite a few shots of fireworks out in Lombard on the 4th, and just found this amongst them.

The subway in chicago, between stops. I'm fairly sure this is just south of lake. 4 photos stitched together using autopano pro, almost a full 180° straight up to straight down. This would be an impossibly wide angle.
Bahá'í House of Worship, Wilmette, IL
I've seen pictures of this building for years, but never had a chance to go and see it. We happened to be driving south along the lake, and stopped by a few days ago.
The grounds and building are beautiful, its well worth a visit.
3 exposures combined.
HDR, 3 shot composite
Click for larger versions. Getting ready on Michigan Avenue, a ceremony in University Village. After the reception at Carnivale, we went to shoot at a church facade in Pilsen. That was a lot of fun, thanks!
