Heading out for Halloween

I never posted these shots from the Friday before Halloween. Shot at our place before we headed out dancing.

A Graphic Novel, and Edward Scissorhands.

New York trip

From a recent trip to New York.

Central Park at dusk, 3-shot composite HDR.

Flying out over New York at sunset.

University of Illinois Quad

A 360° stitch of the University of Illinois quad, as a little planet.

A much larger one is here. We stopped in Champaign on the way back from a recent trip to St. Louis, as I haven't been there in quite a few years. Driving through town Its odd to see what's changed and what hasn't.

Playing with Matches

Playing with matches, and my 7D. With a macro lens and a LOT of light, these are extremely detailed - the second photo is a 100% crop of the first, my intention is to make large-scale prints on canvas with these.

ToolCrew Van Wrap

A Van Wrap designed for Paslode Tools. Photo provided by skinzwraps.com in Dallas. This van should be driving around Home Depot locations in the DFW area very soon.

Lakefront Birdhouses

Birdhouses on the Chicago lakefront - taken with a point and shoot wallet-sized Olympus. It may not be nearly as high quality as my full cameras, but due to the small lens size it has a huge depth-of-field. I like how the three clouds mimic them.

Southwest Michigan Critters

While we were having breakfast outside of the White Rabbit Inn in Lakeside Michigan, this little guy was joining us.

Found this praying mantis outside of an antiques store in Union Pier Michigan. Luckily I had my macro lens nearby in the car.

Burnt Church

Shot in an abandoned, burnt church in Gary, IN. All shot at the exact same spot to keep the dress clean.
